Scott Norman

Since 2001, Scott Norman has been the president and director of operations for Cryptosafari, a leading-edge organization dedicated to exploring the world’s animal wonders and also providing humanitarian assistance to the underprivileged. based in Fullerton, California, Cryptosafari has already launched a highly productive expedition to West Central Africa in search of the legendary Mokele-mbembe. Scott Norman is currently working on raising funds to equip a second team to further search for Mokele-mbembe and to obtain stronger evidence that the animal does indeed exist.

A computer expert by trade, Scott Norman is also an excellent photographer and videographer. His Cameroon expeditions have appeared in the BCSCC Quarterly and in on the Cryptosafari website. His broad knowledge of the findings so far on Mokele-mbembe have meant Scott has assisted various prestigious publications such as National Geographic and television production companies with information on the elusive beast.

A member of the BCSCC for many years, Scott became the U.S. representative for the BCSCC in 2001 and acts as a source of assistance for members in that country, particularly in southern California where he often engages in field work concerning sasquatch, freshwater cryptids and other cryptozoological animals with other club members.

Scott is also active in the life and activities of his church and is keen to assist in improving the lives of the Baka pygmies of southern Cameroon by providing them with humanitarian assistance and education.
